Since The Mandalorian season 1 came to a close, there have been a few stories released by various outlets describing the innovative VFX work done to make all of the environments look so realistic. We found out that massive LED screens were the reason why it looked like Mando was stomping around in a galaxy far, far away, and to help you grasp that concept a little better ILM has released a video breaking down the different VFX effects used in the show.
The video is 4 minutes long and gives us pleb fans an awesome behind the scenes look into how a $10 million episode of TV is made.
