Lucsfilm announced today that Star Wars fans can get a sneak peek at The Mandalorian at D23 this year in August. The show will be featured during the Disney+ panel on Friday, August 23 at 3:30 p.m. in Hall D23.
It’s not clear if new footage will be shown off, or the same, still unreleased footage from Celebration 2019 will be used again, but it sounds like attendees will be seeing some Mando action at the event.
The new Lucasfilm Pavilion exhibit will also be at D23, and it will have the Stormtrooper exhibit, complete with the new Sith Trooper, for fans to visit if they’re not going to SDCC next week. The Pavilion will also have other activities for fans of all ages.
About the D23 Mandalorian Panel
Executive producer Jon Favreau will be joined by Dave Filoni (supervising director on Star Wars: The Clone Wars and writer/director on The Mandalorian) and other special guests for an on-stage presentation offering a glimpse at the titular bounty hunter and his travels to the outer reaches of the galaxy far, far away.
