Thanks to Dafne Keen, who is a confirmed cast member of Star Wars: The Acolyte, the series will be the first Sith-led Star Wars production of all-time. In fact, she dropped a pretty intriguing synopsis of her own.

While talking to TechRadar, Keen revealed the below plot details, which can be processed multiple ways.

“No, I mean, as you know, it’s set 100 years before the prequel movies, and it’s kind of an explanation of how the Sith infiltrated the Jedi. It’s a Sith-led story, which has never been done before.

“It’s been really fun to film – the cast is amazing, and the director and crew are just lovely. The whole experience is wonderful, and I’m already excited for people to see it.”

It’s hard to figure out if she really means that the Sith infiltrate the Jedi, or if it’s when they return and begin to cloud the vision of the Jedi, but either way, this synopsis sounds very intriguing. At least based on existing canon, there weren’t full on Siths in the order, unless you count Dooku working with Sidious as a Jedi during The Phantom Menace.

Either way, a sith led show sounds fantastic.
