Empire’s The Book of Boba Fett issue continues to dole out little nuggets of information for the series, and the latest of note concerns the Directors who bought the series to life.

It was revealed that Steph Green (The Man in the High Castle, Watchmen, PreacherLuke Cage) and Kevin Tancharoen (Arrowverse Shows, Agents of SHIELD, Iron FistPrison Break) directed episodes of the series in addition to Robert Rodriguez, Dave Filoni, and Bryce Dallas Howard. Jon Favreau apparently is only getting an Executive Producer credit, and didn’t direct any episodes himself.

The addition of Green and Tancharoen bring new blood to Star Wars on the small screen, as well as many years of experience making content for streaming platforms and the small screen. The list of Directors for The Book of Boba Fett has definitely shaped up nicely with Rodriguez taking the lion’s share of the time behind the lens, but he’s supplemented with some legit talent to bring the other episodes to life.

The Book of Boba Fett hits Disney+ on December 29, 2021.

Nick and I will talk more about these Directors on next week’s episode of the SWTS, so don’t forget to tune into the Star Wars Time Show on a weekly basis via our podcast platforms or via YouTube if you prefer the livestream angle.
