Hey now Star Wars Time fans, and welcome to our new web home. We are still currently recording our casts on the Entertainment Buddha-cast podcast network, but as we transition it to SWT, I want to start at least posting current episodes from the old platform.

In this episode Nick and I talk about a few important Star Wars news items, as well as the usual tangents and fanboy nonsense that we get into. The biggest news item is the reveal that a Cassian Andor live-action series has been greenlit for the Disney’s streaming service, which has been dubbed Disney+.

We also talk about Rian Johnson’s never ending fight against The Last Jedi trolls, which he took up again a week ago with a fan over his treatment of Luke Skywalker.

Nick and I also touch on the rumor that Matt Smith will be playing a young Palpatine in Episode IX, which we both question heavily. It just doesn’t add up, unless this dude is basically going to provide a scene at best, which just isn’t going to happen.

For now, the podcast as we share it here will be in YouTube form only, but over the coming weeks we should have it fully ported over with new subscribe links for the various podcast platforms out there.

Thanks for being a fan, and don’t forget to remind your other Star Wars buddies of our move!

Matt is literally from a galaxy that is far, far away. Star Wars has consumed his life, and made him the geek that he is. He's no fan of the Prequels, but still loves the Maker. When he's not recording his unstable takes for the Star Wars Time podcast, he's either working on EntertainmentBuddha.com, taking pictures of Star Wars toys, or trying to legitimately wield the Force.
