The FXitinPost team has put out a cool VFX breakdown video for their epic remake of the Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader duel from Star Wars: A New Hope. If you haven’t watched that remake yet, do so now so you can fully appreciate how badass it is.

Anyway, the VFX gurus show you how certain scenes were shot using green screen and special effects wizardry, so if you’re someone who enjoys a peek behind the curtain, this is a great little BTS video. If anything, it will show you how damn talented this team is, and how they made a Hollywood level Star Wars short for YouTube.

About the Video

Hey everyone! Thanks for taking the time to check out these VFX breakdowns from Scene 38. The process took several years to complete due to the number of shots that required VFX (all of them). Big shout out to ActionVFX for supporting Scene 38 with there amazing stock footage! All of their sparks and fog made the project!
