Today the first six episode of the new Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures web-series launched, and they’re excellent. They look freaking awesome, and provide little bytes of key Star Wars lore for both young and old fans to consume. Make sure to check them out by hitting the link above.

With that being said, I want to introduce you to another series of videos that released today on the new Star Wars Kids YouTube channel, that could be even better at exposing Star Wars to young kids and non-fans. If anything else, these Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures Fun Facts videos are great at explaining some of the minutia about the Star Wars galaxy that kids may not pick up on in the live-action films.

Three of these Fun Facts have released so far. The first provides a quick recap of Darth Vader’s life and what made him become the Dark Lord of the Sith. It’s an informative look at how Anakin became Darth, and why Darth is the way he is in the films.

The second provides the same sort of recap for Luke Skywalker, but it stops after his triumph in Return of the Jedi.

The third video zeroes in on the ships of Star Wars, and provides a great look at some of the more iconic ship designs used in the Star Wars galaxy.

Stay tuned for more Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures Fun Facts.
