Two new Star Wars figures have been officially revealed for Bandai’s SHFiguarts action figure line, and they come from the first two films in the sequel trilogy. I should also mention they happen to be Han Solo and Luke Skywalker figures, so the old timers are getting some love.
Up first is old Han Solo from The Force Awakens. The sculpt is pretty damn solid and perfectly captures Ford’s grumpy demeanor. I would have liked to have seen a few more accessories to justify the $60+ price tag, but the sculpt is still worth the money in my opinion. He will be shipping this December, and pre-orders should go live on August 1, 2019.
Up next is Crait Luke Skywalker from The Last Jedi. This Luke has a few more accessories, and the dice are a nice touch, but there’s something about the face sculpt that feels odd. The blown back hair look is especially wonky looking, but I have a feeling he’ll look way better in person. Like Han, this Luke is also going to retail for $60 and will be ready to pre-order on 8/1.
I’d recommend checking out AmiAmi, Bandaionline, or nin-nin-game if you want to import these figs. I’d also check out Big Bad Toy Store if you want to try and score them for a US retailer.
