It’s pretty clear that people like Star Wars TV at this point and time. Both The Mandalorian and The Clone Wars final season have been massive successes for Disney+, and it looks like there is no slowing down the Disney+ train at the moment with the upcoming Cassian Andor series and Obi Wan Kenobi series.

It may seem like a no-brainer, but rumor has it that Disney and Lucasfilm are working on a “shared universe” concept for their series moving forward. To be honest, just using the term “shared universe” or “interconnected stories” seems redundant for Star Wars, because if you have been paying attention to the Star Wars animated series’ for the last decade, it is pretty obvious that they are interconnected and shared both via the movies and among themselves. So, it is not a huge leap for an outlet like LRM to throw out a rumor that states something so painfully obvious.

This earth shattering rumor goes on to state that the shows that will be a part of this shared universe will be, you guessed it, The Mandalorian, Cassian Andor, the rumored Ezra Bridger/Thrawn series, an Ahsoka series, and a yet to be announced series. So basically saying all of the series that have been announced and/or rumored will be connected. Really going out on a limb with this one.

And the biggest reveal here… Dave Filoni will serve as basically ‘the loremaster’ for this whole shebang. What a stunner. He has only played a massive role in the creation and direction of every Star Wars TV project ever, outside of the Gennady Tartakovsky Clone Wars.

Anyway, this is another example of stating the most obvious possible things as a rumor and then being able to claim being correct when the inevitable happens.

Tune into the SWTS Show
