THR has reported that The Punisher, Thor, and Vikings alum, Ray Stevenson, has been cast in the Disney+ Ahsoka series as a villain. Apparently he will be playing an Admiral, but not the one fans may be thinking about, so he’s not THE Grand Admiral that was teased in The Mandalorian Season 2.

Stevenson is not new to Star Wars, as he voiced Gar Saxon in The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Due to that character being toast in the Mando-verse timeline, Ray will not be playing the former follower of Maul.

Ray now joins Rosario Dawson, Hayden Christensen, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, and Ivanna Sakhno in the Ahsoka cast. It should be noted that none of these castings outside of Rosario have been confirmed by Lucasfilm, but the have all been reported by major pop culture websites, so they’re more than likely legit.

The Ahsoka series is set to start filming this spring, and should release sometime in 2023 on Disney+.

Nick and I will talk more about this casting on next week’s episode of the SWTS, so don’t forget to tune into the Star Wars Time Show on a weekly basis via our podcast platforms or via YouTube if you prefer the livestream angle.
