Disney has dropped a clip from the next episode of Star Wars Resistance, which is titled, “The Core Problem”. In the clip, Poe visits Kaz on the Colossus to catch up with him and his latest reports, but he also gives him a bit of bad news.

It seems as if this episode will take place directly before Poe’s mission to Jakku, which we got to see the tail end of at the beginning of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Due to this mission, Poe informs Kaz that he has to take BB-8 with him to Jakku, which we know to be true due to The Force Awakens.

Before Poe jacks his droid back though, it looks like he and Kaz will go on a mission to the Unknown Regions to check out some intel. It sounds like they’ll be finding a bunch of cracked planets and asteroids, which we know are from the First Order testing Starkiller Base tech, or from mining for resources.

About the Episode

In “The Core Problem,” Poe and Kaz seek out an area of the Unknown Regions that their intel on the First Order is pointing to. After the unsettling discovery of multiple cored and broken planets, they must evade a series of First Order pilots in order to make it back alive.

The new episode – “The Core Problem ” – will also be available SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 17th (12:01 a.m. PT) on the DisneyNOW app and Disney Channel VOD, giving kids and families access to the series wherever and whenever they want to watch.
