According to Deadline, Patty Jenkins, the director of the upcoming Rogue Squadron movie, has dropped out as the director of Cleopatra in order to give herself more time to work on Rogue Squadron and Wonder Woman 3.

This news comes soon after the announced delay of Rogue Squadron from Lucasfilm. While there is no information on why the film was delayed, it could be due to increased scrutiny from Disney on Jenkins after the poor showing from Wonder Woman ’84. Hopefully, with more time and less on her plate, Jenkins will be able to put together a strong story for Rogue Squadron.
