We now know exactly when Order 66 will play out in the final season of The Clone Wars thanks to the final two episode descriptions getting posted online, and to my surprise, it’ll happen in the penultimate episode.
As you can see below, the descriptions for The Clone Wars Episodes 11 and 12 provide enough detail to envision how the Order will be carried out in the show.
Episode 11 – “Shattered”
After capturing Maul on Mandalore, Ahsoka’s journey to the Jedi council is disrupted when Order 66 is declared, turning her world upside down.
Episode 12 – “Victory and Death”
Ahsoka and Rex must use their wits and skills to survive the turbulent end of the Clone Wars.
It seems as if Maul will be in hand in 11, and that Ahsoka is taking him to the Jedi Council on Coruscant, but thanks to Order 66 getting enacted, her world is going to get flipped upside down, and Maul more than likely will make his escape after Ahsoka gets attacked by Clones. I’m assuming this may take place on Coruscant, so the final two episodes could have Ahsoka right in the heart of the Republic as it crumbles into the Galactic Empire. Of course, Rex will be by her side in both, and the two most definitely will make it out alive thanks to Rebels canon, but I’m interested to see how it happens, and I won’t be surprised if the Bad Batch is involved.
