Last week we reported some casting rumors for the Cassian Andor series on Disney+, and now those rumors have been confirmed through a casting announcement on StarWars.com.
In addition to the 2 rumored cast mates, Stellan Skarsgard and Kyle Stoller, it was also announced that Genevieve O’Reilly will reprise her role as Mon Mothma in the series and she will be joined by Denise Gough in a yet to be revealed role.
Tony Gilroy will not only be writing the series, he will also be the show’s director and showrunner. His additional cast of writers include his brother, Dan Gilroy, Beau Willimon, and Stephen Schiff.
There is no official release date yet for the Cassian Andor series, but all signs are pointing to a 2021 release.
