The Obi-Wan Kenobi live action series for Disney+ begins filming this month, and apparently someone with access to the set decided to go for some social media clout by posting a set video of them driving by various structures that will be used in the show.

The video is about a minute long and is as legit as it gets, so it’s probably only a matter of time before someone gets fired, but at least they got a cool TikTok video out of it! It offers up a great look at the set though, which is pretty large, and much more practical than I expected.

I figured the Volume would be used for most of this show’s set pieces, but it appears that the Kenobi series will have a fairly large practical set to shoot outdoor and indoor scenes set on Tatooine, which is where the whole show will be set unless there are some flashbacks. You know Old Ben ain’t leaving his post while watching Luke, so like I said this show will probably utilize the sets you see in the video extensively.

UPDATE – The Leaker pledges more footage and a night time fight scene!

Nick and I will talk more about this leak on next week’s episode of the SWTS, so don’t forget to tune into the Star Wars Time Show on a weekly basis via our podcast platforms or via YouTube if you prefer the livestream angle.
