Since Kevin Feige is now working with Star Wars, some people have been wondering when the eventual crossover between Marvel and Star Wars could happen on the big screen. Feige is the mastermind behind the MCU and is hoping to bring some of that expertise to the Star Wars universe, but he is pretty sure that the two franchises will forever stay separated.

“If you’d ask me if anything we’re talking about right now was in the realm of possibility 20 years ago, I would’ve said, ‘I don’t think so. But I really don’t think so. I don’t think there’s any reason for it.” 3

Good. I know many people view pretty much anything Disney does as a cash grab, but if this crossover were to happen, it would be the ultimate cash grab. The two franchises have played in sandboxes together via comic book runs and video games, but like Feige says, there is no reason to have a big screen clash between the gods of the silver screen.

That being said, it would be pretty awesome to see Darth Vader and the Empire take on the Avengers…
