Hey fellow collectors, I know you probably have already seen the new Star Wars 1/6th scale figures announced last week, but I figured we should have something on them to talk about on tomorrow’s show, so here we are.

Anyway, last week both Hot Toys and Sideshow unveiled glamour shots for new 1/6th scale Star Wars action figures from The Mandalorian and The Clone Wars franchises. We finally got confirmation that Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker would be getting a Mando inspired figure – in two different bundles, while we also got more images for Sideshow’s TCW infused Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

I will say that after seeing the new Luke I do think I have to get the Deluxe for that damaged Dark Trooper, but also for Luke himself. He definitely has a different look than the ROTJ Hot Toys Luke, and his cloak appears to be black and not brown. Plus, he has moveable eyes like a few of the recent Maul releases, so those are additional upgrades from the Jedi version of this figure.

He will come in a Standard and Deluxe offerings with both having a Sideshow exclusive bonus item. You can pre-order him today from Sideshow.

The Anakin and Obi-Wan figures were teased a few months ago, but now we can see more of the figures and their accessories. Both retail for $255 and do look animation accurate, but I’m not sure if that’s an aesthetic most fans will go for. Anakin looks much better than Obi-Wan, but both seem a bit off. This is especially the case with their frail and tiny looking hands, but even with the wonkiness, these two haven’t completely fallen off of my radar.

Anakin and Obi-Wan can both be pre-ordered from Sideshow today!

Tune into the SWTS Show
