Lucasfilm and Disney have issued a new teaser for the Ahsoka series, and while it didn’t feature much new footage at all, it did finally tease the release date for the show.

The Ahsoka series will release on Disney Plus on August 23, 2023, and it will feature eight episodes. Like The Mandalorian, it will probably not feature any two-part drops, so plan for eight weeks of new Star Wars beginning on August 23.

On this week’s episode of the Star Wars Time Show we spent a significant amount of time talking about Ahsoka and its characters. In particular, we covered the bad guys of the series, and also speculated on who may actually be under the Inquisitor’s helmet.

Make sure to tune in below using the player playlist, or watch the livestream version after the break.

Nick and I will talk more about Ahsoka on next week’s episode of the SWTS, so don’t forget to tune into the Star Wars Time Show on a weekly basis via our podcast platforms or via YouTube if you prefer the livestream angle.
