Mark Hamill has teamed up with Omaze for a giveaway to meet him for dinner and then go check out the premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, but the real treat is the marketing they created to announce the charity drive.

Rather than just have Mark hold up a sign, or do a bit about coming to meet him and watch the Skywalker saga end, he gives a play-by-play account of his initial Star Wars audition, and the insights are priceless. It’s just very nostalgic for Mark, and you can tell that he’s genuinely interested in breaking down his awkward audition. He gives little stories about that day you’d never hear anywhere else, and he offers up his thoughts on seeing Harrison and Carrie for the first time. It’s just a fantastic little OG Star Wars video that I think you all will enjoy, so check it out below.

Matt is literally from a galaxy that is far, far away. Star Wars has consumed his life, and made him the geek that he is. He's no fan of the Prequels, but still loves the Maker. When he's not recording his unstable takes for the Star Wars Time podcast, he's either working on, taking pictures of Star Wars toys, or trying to legitimately wield the Force.
