The Lucasfilm publishing initiative seems to be the only thing that is spinning up any new reveals recently. This week they announced a new book coming in September by Cavan Scott and George Mann entitled Life Day Treasury: Holiday Stories from a Galaxy Far, Far Away.
This book will feature 8 stories from around the Star Wars galaxy that happened on the most well known holiday in the series, Life Day. These stories will feature holiday-related themes like “hope, family, kindness, and love,” and will feature art by Grant Griffin.
“I think the first line in my original pitch for the book was ‘Ewoks in snow,’” Scott says. “Anyone who talks to me about Star Wars knows my love of the furry little warriors and this seemed too good an opportunity to miss. Both George and I are huge fans of winter folklore and through stories like this we wanted to explore the customs and beliefs that had developed on a number of worlds in the galaxy, including, of course, the forest moon of Endor.”

The book is available for pre-order now via Disney Books and will be released on September 7, 2021.
