Janina Gavankar, who played Iden Versio in Star Wars Battlefront II, got fans of her character all worked up yesterday after replying to a fan’s question about what Versio was up to during the timeline that The Mandalorian is set in.

As implied in the title of this post, she’s more than likely just having fun and fan pitching the idea to the two writers who created the characters for Battlefront II, but you just never know. I did scroll through the replies to see if the writers said anything, but only Mitch replied, but it was to a fan tweet about Iden and Meeko should just be parenting Zay at that point in time in the franchise.

Iden and her team would definitely fit for some Mando-era narratives, especially the Rangers live action show, but who knows if any of this social media chatter has merit to it, or if it’s just fans and the people who play characters they love just having fun.

Nick and I will talk more about this development in next week’s episode of the SWTS, so don’t forget to tune into the Star Wars Time Show on a weekly basis via our podcast platforms or via YouTube if you prefer the livestream angle.
