John Stratman has put out the second part to his Super Star Wars: Vader Down series, which features a fully fledged 16-bit video game engine retelling of the Vader Down comic run from Marvel.
If you haven’t seen the first part, make sure to check that out first. The second half doesn’t disappoint, and once again, if you grew up playing the Super Star Wars games on the Super NES, it’ll be hard not to be entertained by this project. Stratman nails the key aspects of the comics using old school video game engine tech, which is easily the most impressive aspect of his work.
