Elia Chechick’s take on the original Star Wars posters caught my eye this past week as I was scouring the Internet for new fan art to share. There’s something about the style that is very pleasing to the eye, and the simpler illustrations work very well for the content of each poster.

I like the warm bright colors, but more importantly I appreciate the Picasso-like take on the character designs. Having their shapes be slightly distorted just adds a ton of charm to each art piece. These would look great hanging in anyone’s Star Wars cave, den, garage, or whatever room you use to pay homage to that galaxy from far, far away.
