Diamond Select Toys has made it official, they’re in the Star Wars action figure hustle now! The toy maker has now confirmed that it will be producing Star Wars figures, and the first two to be made available are Boba Fett and Darth Maul.

Both are now available over on the Disney Shop for $24.99, but you may want to hold onto your cash, because I’m not sure any of us needs another Fett figure at this scale, and you’re for damn sure that Maul face is wonky as fuck.

What’s even more interesting is that it appears Lucasfilm hired someone with worse toy photography skills than your’s truly to market the figures. I mean look at some of the official product shots below! Maybe Diamond Select spent all its Star Wars money on securing the license?

You can check out a gallery below. You can also buy these if you dare from the Disney Shop.

The Disney Store Launches New Star Wars Select 7-Inch Action Figure Line

For years, fans of Star Wars have asked for a line of 7-inch-scale Star Wars action figures, both for the added detail and the compatibility with other toy lines. The Disney Store has heard the demand, and has launched a new line of Star Wars Select action figures, made by Diamond Select Toys for the Disney Store!

The line kicks off on October 23 with two releases, Boba Fett and Darth Maul. Each figure stands approximately 7 inches tall with 16 points of articulation, and each comes with multiple interchangeable parts and effects.

Boba Fett, the galaxy’s most famous bounty hunter, is packed with accessories, including a blaster, blast effect, flamethrower effect, twin jet thruster effects and alternate hands. Darth Maul, one of history’s deadliest Sith Lords, wields a twin-bladed lightsaber with removable blades, twirling blades and a removable connector peg for double lightsaber action, and also includes alternate hands and a deflecting laser effect.

Both figures come packaged in the famous, display-ready Select action figure packaging, with side-panel artwork for shelf reference.

Darth Maul and Boba Fett will go up for orders on shopdisney.com on October 23, and will be available in physical stores and Disney park locations on or around that date.
