The Bad Batch Season 3 continued this week with Episodes 6 and 7 airing together to complete a story arc that involved a bit of infiltration and some extraction.

Fans of The Clone Wars will be hard pressed to not find something enjoyable in this two-episode block of Bad Batch. It mostly felt like a callback to that series thanks to Clone Force 99 having to help out Captain Rex and other famous rogue clones after their base on Teth gets found out thanks to their capture of a Clone X Trooper, or what Rex calls, Shadow Troopers.

Crosshair and Omega’s bond continues to be a highlight this season and is again featured in this week’s episodes. Her use of a toothpick is a nice touch, and once gain Crosshair as a narrative device is working very well to show their bond growing, but also to show how his choices have affected other clones over the course of three seasons.

Of course the episodes were loaded with Clone trooper excellence and action, so overall it was a solid block of Bad Batch content.
