SDCC 2022 is underway, and while Star Wars won’t be heavily represented, there are a few exhibits dedicated to some of the various projects from that far away galaxy.

One in particular features a few costumes and a droid from the upcoming Andor series, and while costumes aren’t known to reveal story details, some of the blurbs that accompany them do.

Up first, we get some insights into one of the new planets that will be featured in the series called Aldhani. It is referenced on a placard for one of Cassian’s costumes, and sounds like it’ll be where he gets mixed up with the proper rebellion, or at least feature his first mission for the rebellion.

As part of his entry into the growing rebellion, Cassian Andor must undertake a dangerous mission on Aldhani.

One of Mon Mothma’s costumes is also on display, and teases that she will be wearing it while on Coruscant.

The Imperial Senator from Chandrila, Mon Mothma carefully navigates the dangerous shadows of Coruscant politics in her efforts to build a rebellion.

Finally, B2EMO is also in attendance, and apparently he is the Andor family droid. It’s not clear if B2 will be with Cassian during his adventures with the rebellion, or if it will only be featured early on, or via flashbacks, but it does sound like a longtime member of the Andors.

B2EMO — or Bee-two or more simply, Bee – is a very old and weary groundmech salvage assist unit that’s been towing scrap for the Andor family for years.  The droid has a wide array of mechanical tools and various capabilities to meet the functions required.

Andor hits Disney+ on August 31st with a two episode premiere.

Nick and I will talk more about Andor on next week’s episode of the SWTS, so don’t forget to tune into the Star Wars Time Show on a weekly basis via our podcast platforms or via YouTube if you prefer the livestream angle.
