We here at the Star Wars Time Show are big fans of Solo: A Star Wars Story, even if some of our fans, aka the Fandos, aren’t, so needless to say, we were pretty sad to hear that any future Solo projects were shelved due to the movie’s under-performance at the box office.

We continue to hold out hope that Solo can make a return in some form, but as of now, there are no rumors or hints that Solo content will be coming back.

Alden Ehrenreich, young Han, took some time to speak with Esquire about what he would bring him back to play Han Solo, and if he had heard anything spicy about upcoming SW projects.

Alden on if he would return to the Han Solo role:

“It depends on what it is. It depends on how it’s done. It depends if it feels innate to the story.”

When asked if he had heard anything about a potential Solo sequel:

“No, I don’t know anything about that. I mean, you know, I think our movie was kind of the last of the conventional-era Star Wars movie release time,”

And a little hint that something may be brewing for the future:

“I’ve heard soooome stuff, but nothing concrete.”

Overall, it seems like Alden has basically disconnected from Star Wars and Hollywood as a whole after Solo. He hasn’t seen TROS or The Mandalorian, and he is seemingly happy taking some personal time to relax from the insanity that is show biz. Hopefully we do get to see a return to the Solo role for Alden, but it seems like it may be far off, if it happens at all.

Tune into the SWTS Show
