SPOILERS
In MSW’s latest rumor report for the Ahsoka series, he’s claiming that Morgan Elsbeth, Ahsoka’s foil from Corvus in The Mandalorian, will play a major role in the series. In fact, he explains that Morgan Elsbeth is to Thrawn as Sabine and Ahsoka are to Ezra, so like our former Rebels, Morgan has been searching for and trying to bring back Thrawn for many, many years.
If you remember from her appearance in The Mandalorian, she was on Corvus stripping it for resources in what we thought was for Thrawn himself at his request, but in reality, she’s been harvesting resources for years in an attempt to build some sort of ship to help her bring Thrawn back from whatever Unknown Regions he may be in. You may think you know what happened to Morgan in her duel with Ahsoka, but MSW thinks fans will be shown how she may have actually gotten away, because she will be a major player in the Ahsoka series.
Jason also clarified his earlier reports on the characters of Baylon and Shin. Apparently, they are allies of Elsbeth, and she will be brining them with her once she’s ready to take whatever ship she’s building for Thrawn to go and find him.
MSW is also unsure of the type of ship Morgan has been trying to build. He’s been told it’s a big one, but also that it could be TIE fighters and such. All you need to know is that she has been using Corvus to build whatever transport she needs. It’s also not clear if what she is building is meant to bring Thrawn’s whole fleet back or not.
Finally, MSW reiterated that the Ahsoka series will be in two parts, with the first part focusing on the New Republic, Sabine, and Ahsoka, along with what seems like Morgan and her crew now. The second half will then feature everyone’s adventure in the unknown regions to find Ezra and Thrawn.
