The Ahsoka series has come to an intriguing end, and based on the finale’s final moments, it seems inevitable that a second season is coming, but with the passing of Ray Stevenson, narratives may have to shift. Either way, the first season of Ahsoka was fantastic and easily one of the best live-action Star Wars shows to date.

What is disappointing about the finale is that it mostly skipped out on Baylan and Shin, and the end makes it clear that their stories were meant to get more meat in a second season of the show. The monkey wrench in all of this is that Mr. Stevenson has passed on in real life, so fans could be facing a similar situation that was experienced when Carrie Fisher died before completing the sequel trilogy.

Recast or not to recast is more than likely the choice right now, but here’s hoping we get to see more of the Peridea plot thread in a future season of the show.
